Things are getting better for ‘Sahaya’ as it is slowly gaining on the top-rating series ‘The General’s Daughter’ of ABS-CBN.
‘Sahaya’ earned a NUTAM People Rating of 12.1% over ‘The General’s Daughter’ with 11.7% rating on May 3, 2019.

The rating of ‘Sahaya’ got even higher in the next episode on May 6 with 13.5% ‘The General’s Daughter’ earned only 12.4%.

The cast of the said series was overwhelmed by the high ratings and support of the fans. ‘Sahaya’ lead star Bianca Umali became even more enthusiastic to portray her character.
With the rising popularity of the series, Umali is sometimes addressed by fans as Sahaya instead of calling out her real name. When asked about the matter, the actress revealed that she feels flattered and doesn’t take offense if they do.
“Hindi po, masaya pa po ako. Ibig sabihin, pinapanood nila ako, kami, kaya alam nila ang mga pangalan ng characters namin. Inspiration ko po iyon dahil pinaghihirapan namin ang pagganap sa aming mga role,” Umali shared.
The actress also gave a hint about the anticipated events of the series, like Sahaya undergoing drastic changes in her life.
In the recent episodes, Sahaya received a makeover from Lindsay(Ashley Ortega) in a preparation for her school visit in Manila. Looking at Sahaya’s transformation,(Migo Adecer)Jordan’s heart was completely captivated. The video of this scene trended on YouTube, garnering over 1 million views.

“Sana po abangan ng viewers kung paano magbabago si Sahaya. Kung gaano ka-drastic ang change na mangyayari sa kanya.
“Actually, this is my first show at character na may ganito kadaming layers.
“Pero nami-miss ko pa rin po ang napaka-simple na si Sahaya. Si Miguel (Miguel Tanfelix) po ay ganoon pa rin bilang si Ahmad, pero marami nang pagbabagong magaganap,” she revealed.
