‘The Boobay and Tekla Show’ was originally aired as a web show on YouTube that premiered on television on January 27, 2019. Due to its rising popularity, the show was set to compete with the top-rating show of ABS-CBN, ‘Gandang Gabi Vice,’ on the same timeslot.
The pressured Boobay and Tekla was delighted as their show outrated ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ on their premiere night. Since then, the show has gained higher ratings than their rival comedy show many times. The audience loved the show for its remarkable and different comedic styles.
In an exclusive interview on GMANetwork.com, Boobay and Tekla have revealed the names of their dream guests for the second season of ‘TBATS.’
“Siyempre ang box office queen, si Maine Mendoza. Siyempre, isa rin siya sa mga tina-target namin na i-guest sa show. ‘Yan din, Alden Richards. Gusto nga namin sana si Ms. Jessica Soho, siya ang magpa-prank. So far ‘yun, si Ma’am Jessica, si Tita Mel [Tiangco], si Tito Mike [Enriquez],” Tekla shared.
Boobay agreed to Tekla’s response but he also divulged his own wish list.
“Siyempre, mga naglalakihang artista kagaya ni Mahal ‘tsaka si Dagul kung pwede sila. Si Mura, ayan. Seryoso,”Boobay added.
All of a sudden, Boobay and Tekla’s wish just might have come true as Twitter post showed Maine Mendoza’s taping for TBATS circulated on the Internet.
