Who wouldn’t forget the iconic commercial of McDonald’s’ about an ulyanin grand father who keeps on chanting a different name in front her granddaughter, who came out that she was the favorite apo?
Well, it was just known that the ulyanin lolo, Rudy Francisco, who acted on the Mc Donalds’ ad “Karen” passed away at the age of 96.
On the Instagram post of the on-screen apo, Karen Delos Reyes had posted her sympathy and condolences, “Sad day today 🙁 Rest in peace, Lolo Rudy Francisco. My deepest condolences to you and your family @rsfrancisco888”

It was not known to everyone that Lolo Atty. Rudy Francisco was a matinee idol before on Sampaguita Pictures, over the span of 6 years in the early 50’s, before he proceeded to study Law.
The McDonald’s’ advertisement had won the Kidlat Ads of the Decade at the Kidlat Awards, form the category of ads from the 1999 to 2009.
Viewers that had watched the ads had also gave their sympathy to Lolo Rudy.
