Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has revealed why GMA Network didn’t hire her after she left ABS-CBN. On the Instagram post of the entertainment writer Lolit Solis, the actress had revealed the true reason in the comments section.
Last October 2018, Kris Aquino had already addressed a similar statement from a fan. In a comment on one of her Instagram posts, she replied to a fan on wished she would work at GMA Network.
“@lenimagsipol Kris Aquino in GMA-7 please, make it happen!” the fan wrote.
The actress replied that she couldn’t work due to some limitations with her work hours and locations.
“This is very heartwarming to read. I’d love to. I’ve always been vocal that I’d love to work with @km_jessica_soho and/or kuya Josh’s favorite Willie Revillame. But I have limitations regarding my work hours, locations, and the number of work days I am allowed per week Nakakahiya sa @gmanetwork and the family of @annettegozonvaldes if they don’t get their money’s worth. Thank you for the uplifting wish.”
But in a recent comment that the actress made on Lolit Solis’s post, she revealed the reason she couldn’t work at the network was because GMA Network didn’t want her.

“GMA didn’t want me, and I cannot blame them – bakit naman nila bibigyan ang sarili nila ng sakit ng ulo eh maganda naman ang profit margins nila? It’s been a humbling journey that taught me I am much stronger than I ever gave myself credit for. And it made me very realistic what’s here and now, what was, and to have enough faith for what may still be.”
The Queen of All Media once hosted the Kapuso talk show ‘Startalk’ (1995-1996) along with Boy Abunda and Lolit Solis.
Kris explained that “while I have no issues with President Duterte, his supporters don’t like me. I know the realities of life. I understand why I still don’t have [TV projects] up to now.”
