At her ‘A Life Full of Kisses’ birthday concert, Kisses Delavin repeatedly kept saying, “Gusto kong mag quit sa showbiz!” which soon raised questions if the young actress was leaving showbiz.
In May of this year, Kisses and ‘Playhouse’ co-star Donny Pangilinan were the subject of speculation as rumors of their love team being dissolved surfaced. Was this the reason she was quitting showbiz?
During a guest appearance on ‘Magandang Buhay,’ Kisses clear up the rumors.
She explained that she kept repeating about quitting to refer to a time in 2017 when she was going through something and later found the inspiration to push through.
“I’m here to stay for the people who want me to stay,” Kisses clarified.
She added, “Kasi at least there is one person who believes in you, kapitan mo yun, kasi as long as may isang tao na gusto kang manatili, ibig sabihin si God yung nagsasabi na mag keep ka, laban ka, push for your dreams.”
Her ever supportive mother, Carrie Delavin, happily made the announcement through her Instagram page.
“It’s her 1st day of school at De La Salle University. God Bless!” she wrote in the caption.

Prior to joining the reality show ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ as a teen housemate in 2016, Kisses had been studying at DLSU, where she’s taking up a course in Accountancy.
