The popular afternoon series, ABS-CBN’s ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ is still enjoying its record-breaking streak on being the No. 1 daytime show in the country. And four years running, ABS-CBN’s ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ still reigns in being the number 1 TV show in the Philippines.
‘Kadenang Ginto’ has really hooked viewers with the feisty catfights of its lead stars, Andrea Brilliantes as Marga and Francine Diaz as Cassie, and the dramatic twist of the story’s plot line that keeps the viewers await every afternoon. On AGB NUTAM People’s rating of May 8, 2019, it got a very high rating of 10.4% against its pitted show, GMA Network’s ‘Bihag,’ which just garnered a 6.4% rating.
‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ is still unbeatable, just as main character Ricardo Dalisay played by Coco Martin, is leading the shows nationwide. The action-packed drama which is centered on Cardo’s fight against the anomalies that are happening in the country, somehow depicts the real issues that the country is facing, which really catches the nights of viewers, with a rating of 14.1%, as of May 8, 2019.
On AGB Nielsen’s Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) People Rating as of May 8, 2019, were the following results:
On the morning block, ‘Nang Ngumiti ang Langit’ once again got the lead by 9% in ratings against the ‘Kapuso Movie Festival’ with 6.8%. On the noon time show of both networks, ABS-CBN’s ‘It’s Showtime’ leads with 7.2% against pitted shows, ‘Eat Bulaga’ just with 6.6% and ‘Dragon Lady’ with only in 6.4%.
On the afternoon teleserye bloc, ‘Kadenang Ginto’ triumphantly led with 10.4% while ‘Bihag’ only got 6.1%. ‘Los Bastardos’ led again with 6% against GMA Network’s ‘Inagaw na Bituin’ with 3.7%.
On the Primetime block, the late afternoon game show, ‘Minute to Win It’ led as well, with a 10.2% against the variety game show, ‘Wowowin’ with 6.9%. On the news broadcast of both networks, ‘TV Patrol’ lost to a close fight with a 10.5% in rating, against ‘24 Oras’ that led with 10.6%.
ABS-CBN’s ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ got a 14.1% leading against pitted show, GMA Network’s ‘Kara Mia’ with 10.6% percent. ‘The General’s Daughter’ got its spot back as well, in being number 1, against its rival show ‘Sahaya,’ that got a 13.4% while GMA Network’s ‘Sahaya’ was down with a 12%, and ‘Sino Ang May Sala? Mea Culpa’ with just 8% in rating against ‘Love You Two’ that was leading with 10.2%.
