On May 13, the ABS-CBN Special Coverage: Halalan 2019 registered a 5.7% rating and defeated the 5.4% rating of Eleksyon 2019 on May 13, but with overall ratings, the GMA News and Public Affairs Special Coverage was hailed the winner and the most watched coverage based on Nielsen TV Audience Measurement’s ratings data for May 13 and 14.
GMA News’ special coverage of the 2019 Midterm Elections garnered an average people rating of 3.2 percent in National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM), beating ABS-CBN’s Halalan 2019 that only got 2.8 percent.
The coverage gained the viewers’ trust in almost all parts of the country through TV and online.
In Urban Luzon, GMA News’ Eleksyon 2019 special coverage accumulated an average rating of 3.4 percent while ABS-CBN recorded 2.4 percent.
