GMA Network’s Inagaw Na Bituin,’ that top-billed Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar, started and ended its run without winning, according to NUTAM and Kantar Media.
The Kapuso afternoon series won by 0.1% according to NUTAM on February 11. ‘Inagaw Na Bituin’ was able to get 6.1% at its start versus ‘Kadenang Ginto’s’ 6.0%. In Kantar Media, ‘Kadenang Ginto’ won the ratings game against ‘Inagaw na Bituin’ garnering 19.0% while the latter had 12.1%.
A lot has changed after a month of airing. ‘Inagaw na Bituin’s’ ratings were lagging even in NUTAM (subscribed by GMA Network) so the network decided to put the series to a latter timeslot – to rival ‘Los Bastardos’. Meanwhile, ‘Kadenang Ginto’ having ‘Bihag’ as its new challenger, peaked multiple times in April pulling up their pre and post programmings. ‘Los Bastardos’ gained a lot a viewers, leaving ‘Inagaw Na Bituin’ behind in TV ratings.
The Kapuso series was initially rumored to end on its 10th week, but the series aired its final episode on its 16th week.
The series ended its run last Friday (May 17) with 4.7% versus 5.7% of the Kapamilya series in NUTAM. Kantar Media registered a finale rating of 10.6% for ‘Inagaw Na Bituin’ while ‘Los Bastardos’ gained 19.6%.
