This tweet has the same energy as "I'm privileged. It doesnt affect me so I dont care." Hmmmm..

Alongside with the bashers, fans of the comedian pointed out the tweet is something that shouldn’t be a big of a deal,
Insensitive? Kung bumili ba ako ng phone na medyo pricey as a reward for myself iba-bash niyo din ba ako kasi dapat dinonate ko nalang yung perang pambili sa mahihirap or dapat ganun din kinikita nila kasi you deem them more hardworking???

Virtue signalling. Why should @vicegandako feel guilty and empathy kung hindi naman pera ng iba ginagasta nya? Maybe these "wokes" should also feel the same when they sip their lattes while typing away on their smartphones.

Others even pointed out the country’s issue in poverty, and some of the words in Vice Ganda’s tweets can be misleading.
Yes, she is privileged. Do you know why? Because she worked hard for this privilege. She earned it through hard work by making everyone laugh, smile, and cry. Kayo, ang sobrang sensitive nyo.

Because of the Twitter war that has begun, Vice Ganda blasted and voiced out his side on those who called out on him as ‘insensitive’ due to his excitement on shopping.
“Nagtweet lang ako ng magshashopping ako sinabihan nako ng mga feeling WOKE ng ‘Privileged’! Bakit ako lng ba nakakapagshopping sa buong mundo? Mga shunga! Punta ka ng mall kahit walang trabaho nagshashopping!!! Dunung dunungan ang mga potahang feeling WOKE!”

Vice Ganda didn’t end his side with one tweet he even called the people who were misled by his tweet as “pawoke”
Kahit mahirap nasa mall at may binibili.

And i dont have to brag about my monetary capabilities. Everybody knows im a millionaire because im a hardworking Filipino. Bitch!!! Sabay hampas ng balakang. Catwalk. Exit.

— jose marie viceral (@vicegandako) May 19, 2019
Vice ended his tweets about the issue on stating his last side on people saying that he has no empathy because of his shopping.
You don’t just say or tweet the word EMPATHY. You stand up and help. May mga natulungan na ba kayo? May mga nasagip na ba kayo? Maka empathy lang ang mga potaha! Nagshopping lang wala ng empathy!!! Empathy mo mukha mo!
— jose marie viceral (@vicegandako) May 19, 2019
Vice Ganda had calm down but still on his recent tweets, he still jokes on his tweets that he will be shopping and maybe some would react again.
