- The number of names who expressed support to ABS-CBN network continues to grow.
- It was Angel Locsin who first made a statement in defense of the Lopez-owned media outfit.
- Even a Duterte supporter like Beverly Salviejo did not agree with Jimmy Bondoc’s wish.
Many have expressed their support to ABS-CBN Kapamilya network after the 43-year-old James Patrick Romero Bondoc also known as Jimmy Bondoc expressed his tirade against the Lopez-owned media company.
In defense, it was Angel Locsin, one of the Network’s prized talents came to the company’s defense and many have followed suit, but on Friday, May 24, Beverly Salviejo, an opera singer-comedienne also made her statement in favor of Channel 2.
Salviejo, a vocal staunch Duterte supporter made a post on her facebook account:
“Ginoong Jimmy Bondoc, HIGIT SA LAHAT…TAO!
She emphasized what Bondoc should have considered prior to making his ‘hate’ statement against the Network that once have hired him in many ways despite his dark experience.
Don’t look at them as jobs… look at them as lives, and that every life there has got a family, old and/or sick parents, kids to send to school, mouths to feed, rents to pay, probably loans or mortgages to pay….etc.

Salviejo made a sound closing on her post, “Marami nga marahil ang kasalanan ng abscbn… You can have your pound of flesh in so many ways!
Today, Bondoc is the Assistant Vice President for Community Relations and Service Department of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), to which he was appointed President Duterte as announced by the singer on July 9 of 2016.
