“Promise bukas, malakawa meron na ako’ng iba,” sings ROOM FOR CIELO, an alternative pop band hailing from the south of the metro. In their newest single, the band narrates the ups and downs of nursing a heartbreak. “Bukas, Makalawa” pulls at the listeners’ heartstrings as the protagonist reminisces a lost love and his journey of moving on. With its relatable and honest lyrics, “Bukas, Makalawa” is the newest hugot song to dominate music listeners’ sawi playlist.
Room for Cielo is known for their nostalgic sounds from the 80s-90s OPM era and flavours of modern Pop and Ballad infused to their music. The band consists of Pael Gutierrez (vocalist), Daryl Cielo (guitarist/composer), PJ Ballares (bassist), and Justin Felias (drummer).
They recently released the music video for their song “Hindi Ko Alam.” Fans can also expect more songs and shows from the band this 2019.
