- Agot Isidro said she has accepted that Hilbay lost in the senatorial race
- The actress debunked a fake report on her not accepting the election results
- Agot is known for being vocal about her opinions on the Duterte administration
Agot Isidro debunked a local news report claiming that she has not accepted that her boyfriend, senatorial aspirant Florin Hilbay, lost in the 2019 midterm election.
The actress is known to be a vocal critic of the Duterte administration on her social media accounts. She has also expressed her support for the Liberal Party on certain occasions.
Recently, Agot retweeted a tabloid report which claimed she could not accept the results of the senatorial race and defeat of Hilbay who ran under the opposition slate’s Otso Diretso.
“Grabe. Tanggap na tanggap naman,” Agot began as she retweeted the tabloid report.
“Check yung tweet. Kalmado,” she continued.

The report used Agot’s previous tweet about China “winning” the elections. On May 14, she had tweeted, “Klaro kung sino ang nanalo dito. China.”
Two days later, on May 16, Agot said she was expecting the worst about the election results but was still hoping for a surprise.
While the actress might have been disappointed with the senatorial race’s results, she did not directly mention that she did not accept Hilbay’s loss.
She even posted a tweet full of hope with the hashtag “#kapitlangpilipinas” after she shared her sentiment on the preliminary results.
Postscript on the senatorial race:
I was expecting the worst but was hoping to be surprised.
The surprise didn’t come but the hope stayed on. #kapitlangpilipinas
