Filipinos followed the events that unfolded in the national midterm elections yesterday (May 13) by watching ABS-CBN News’ special coverage, which won in the morning and afternoon time blocks. “Halalan 2019: The ABS-CBN Special Coverage” registered 5.7%, versus the 5.4% rating of “Eleksyon 2019.”
Meanwhile, the Kapamilya Network’s special coverage in the afternoon recorded 12.7%, beating the rival network’s midterm polls coverage that only got 9.8%.
“TV Patrol” was the most watched newscast on Election Day (May 13), hitting 29.2% versus “24 Oras” that only registered 19.9%, as Filipinos monitored the results of the midterm polls in the evening. Late night newscast “Bandila” was also the choice news program of Filipinos who continued to tune into national midterm elections. It scored 6.0%, versus “Saksi Liga ng Katotohanan” that got 5.1%
