A 6.5 magnitude earthquake rocked Eastern Samar yesterday, April 23, a day after Central Luzon was reportedly hit by a 6.1 magnitude. This caused tremendous commotion and fear, especially to those who reside in or near the area when the shaking of the ground happened.
Even Kapuso actress Thea Tolentino experienced the temblor. She was exploring the Lobo Cave in Jiabong, Samar when the 6.5 magnitude earthquake rocked the area.
She even posted a photo of herself entering the Lobo Cave on Twitter, with the caption, “This was taken 30 mins before the 6.5 magnitude earthquake here in Samar. We were exploring Lobo Cave when it happened.
“Thank God walang nangyaring masama while we were inside,” she added.

Aside from her photo, she also posted a short message reminding everyone to stay calm, no matter how hard it is, when experiencing a natural calamity.
She said, “Remember, kahit mahirap, wag masyado mag-panic dahil baka iyon pa ang magdulot ng kapahamakan natin.”
Thea concluded her message with, “Stay safe and be alert everyone!”

Thea Tolentino’s last drama project was the defunct afternoon drama series of GMA, Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko, where she played the role of Venus Hermosa-Bravante, a transgender woman who is married to Gavin Corpus (Rayver Cruz), a man whom Rachel Santiago (Kris Bernal)-Bravante fell in love with. Rachel is the ex-wife of Venus, when she was still Nathan Bravante, and before she had undergone surgery. The drama series aired on October 22, 2018 and concluded on March 2, 2019.
