ABS-CBN has offered two action-packed drama series in its primetime line-up and these are The General’s Daughter and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Though it showcases the same genre, it has a widely different storyline which make netizens look forward to every explosive scene that each uniquely has.
However, The General’s Daughter, still going on its third month, has yet again exceeded FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, which is already on its third year of airing.
The General’s Daughter first surpassed on its second episode on January 22, which both media ratings provider NUTAM and Kantar agreed. Based on the results, The General’s Daughter earned at least a 0.1 percent higher score, having a total of 17.2 percent views as compared to FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, which gained a total of 17.1 percent.
For the second time around, the former gained another 0.1 percent higher score. Based on the April 05 NUTAM results, the show earned a total of 15.4 percent audience views, as compared to the latter which only gained 15.3 percent.
This results only implies that truly the show has also already gained the attention of the televiewers as the scenes are getting more intense.
On another note, ABS-CBN’s primetime line-up still conquers in the ratings beating all its rival series with 4.6 percent, as the highest score gap and 0.7 percent as the lowest.
