- Sylvia Sanchez clarified the issue of betting on Maine Mendoza together with son Arjo Atayde
- Sylvia said that the bet was on Arjo’s projects and has nothing to do with Maine Mendoza
- Bashers are still active on spreading false accusations against the Atayde family
The Atayde Family is still the favorite target of bashers. Currently, a controversy is spreading that they are betting on Maine Mendoza. Finally, Sylvia Sanchez, on behalf of Arjo Atayde, has denied and clarified this accusation once and for all.
In an interview with Tito Boy in his evening talk show, ‘Tonight with Boy Abunda,’ Sylvia was asked regarding the issue that she and her son Arjo were placing bets on Maine Mendoza. She answered directly that there is no way that they are playing games with Maine Mendoza for she herself is a woman, so why would she even bother doing something that is not appropriate to another woman.
She then explained that the betting game was not on Maine Mendoza but rather on Arjo’s projects. She and Arjo have made a bet on which current project of his would bring him to the heights of his career. Knowing that Arjo stars in the upcoming film ‘Stranded,’ and on a digital show ‘Bagman,’ in the iWantTV app at the same time.
Sylvia pointed out that being in the showbiz industry for a decade has made her know which show would be her son’s edge in making it more in his career, and this would likely be Bagman. But Arjo, otherwise. disagrees for he claims that his movie Stranded, his first comedy romantic film will be the one that will lift his image. With this, it prompted the two to place their bets on which show would Arjo be getting his fame.
Though Sylvia won in the bet for Arjo’s Bagman resulting to a positive rate, she won’t be getting the bet of P100,00 for it was just a game and it was not serious betting.
