Just this January 27, 2019, the television and web talk show of GMA Network – The Boobay and Tekla Show – was aired on their Sunday Grande after KMJS, which offered viewers a variety of funny and entertaining skits that aimed to entertain the viewers in a comedic way.
Hosted by comedians Boobay and Tekla, who are known for their tandem as entertaining and funny and can capture the laughing hearts of the viewers. In an interview, Super Tekla was asked when he was on his set of his upcoming movie Kiko en Lala, about the movie. When the topic shifted to the comparison of him and the Unkobagable star Vice Ganda, he immediately answered that people should stop comparing them.
“Vice Ganda na yun, e! Ano lang naman ba ko?. Mahirap na siyang abutin, o kahit lagpasan ko man siya, iba na siya. Kasi, Vice Ganda na siya. Wala na silang magagawa.”
He even mentioned in his past interviews that he and Vice are good friends, and were co workers before.
“Me and Vice, Vice is a good friend of mine, kasi nagkakasama kasi sa isang company before, pareho kami ng circle of work, halos pareho ng background.”
He truly believes that both of them shouldn’t be compared to Vice Ganda, for he has more to learn. Now, Tekla is very happy for the opportunity that was given to him on his upcoming movie “Kiko en Lala” by the network.
The Boobay and Tekla Show airs every Sunday after Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, which is of the same time slot as Gandang Gabi Vice.
