The heating rivalry between Romina (Beauty Gonzalez) and Daniela (Dimples Romana) has gone to a higher level when Romina returned from prison, after being charged with parricide. Seeking revenge, Romina returned with a plan of getting the company back and build a rightful place on the Mondragon wealth, with daughter Cassie.
As the series showcased an explosive comeback, it also earned a surprising triumph as Kadenang Ginto placed a new record in the TV Ratings.
On March 28, based on the Kantar Media-Ratings, ‘Kadenang Ginto’ hit an all-time high rate nationwide with a total percentage of 26.9 viewers, thus placing it on the number one spot of its time slot. While its rival series ‘My Special Tatay’ only earned a total percentage of 11.9, giving its rival series at least an average of 15 percent higher score.
This was actually not the first time that the series was able to beat its record, as, for the month of March, it has made at least four record-breaking moments. Which therefore proves that the dramatic tug-of-war between the Mondragan family is continuously catching the attention of the massive television audience.
The series also continues to trend in the online world, as netizens can’t help but react to every intense scene of the cast.
