After doing their very first ‘MMK’ episode together, Paulo Angeles and Barbie Imperial finally got the push as ABS-CBN’s newest love team when their first-ever teleserye materialized.
Their first ‘MMK’ featured the love story of Hennesy and Alanis, who passed away due to chronic kidney disease, made waves on social media and won big in TV ratings.
Paulo and Barbie met with director Ruel Bayani, and the people behind the RSB Drama Unit last January as shared by Barbie on her Instagram account. And after months of preparations and revisions, RSB Drama Unit finally handed to the two stars the script for their pilot, until the fourth episode, for them to study.
Barbie was previously paired with JM de Guzman via ‘PHR Presents Araw Gabi’ while Barbie will be Paulo’s first official love team.
