‘It’s Showtime’ outshines new rival show; ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ still #1 nationwide

“It’s Showtime” starts April strongly as it clinched a 20.2% (April 1, Mon) rating, eclipsing new rival program “Bihag” (11.1%) as well as current rival shows “Eat Bulaga” (11.7%) and “Dragon Lady” (11.2%).

Cardo and the Vendetta’s surrender to the authorities in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” last Monday (April 1) strengthened its hold of the top spot of the most watched shows nationwide, recording 43.7%, beating “Kara Mia” (15.3%).

The heart-pounding events in “The General’s Daughter” earned the show a 33.4% (April 1, Mon) and 33.9% (April 2, Tue).
