- Derek Ramsay likes to take risks
- Derek believes that GMA Network can provide with what he is looking for
- Derek will be set to appear on television screens with his upcoming teleserye ‘The Better Woman’ together with Andrea Torres
The new Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay is delighted with the perseverance that GMA Network has showed towards him, before signing an exclusive contract with the said network. Initially, he planned to lie low from showbiz and become a professional golfer. Aside from this, he went through an operation after suffering from a bulging disc injury.
“They gave me the time to prepare my mind, my body to start working here in GMA,” Derek stated.
“The way they approached me and my family, it was with so much respect,” he added.
The Ultimate Hunk revealed that one factor that helped made his decision to sign the contract with the Kapuso Network is the ‘risks’ it takes in producing teleseryes.
“What I noticed with Kapuso is you guys like to take risks. It’s not just the same thing you put on the table all the time. I love the fact that they take risks,” said Derek.
According to the new Kapuso hottie, taking risks is his philosophy in life. And he is confident that the GMA Network will be able to give him what he is looking for.
“That’s what I do with my life. It gets me in trouble. But you know what? It’s gotten me to where I am, because the bigger the risk you take, the bigger success. If you fail, you can learn from that mistake so that you don’t make it again the next time you take a big risk,” he explained.
“I’m a risk taker. I like challenging projects. I like to try new things. That’s what I know GMA can provide,” he said.
Derek signed an exclusive contract with the GMA Network yesterday, April 3.
The new Kapuso leading man will be appearing on TV screens since he is set to star in the upcoming teleserye of GMA-7 ‘The Better Woman’ where he will work with one of the hottest actresses of GMA, Andrea Torres.
