GMA Network’s ‘Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko’ April 7, 2019 episode with Alden Richards topped the TV ratings with an 8.0% score, while ABS CBN’s ‘Wansapanataym,’ only had 7.8%, according to NUTAM.
This episode starred Pambansang Bae himself, Alden Richards as ‘Nonoy,’ the caring, kind, and brave Pinoy Santa in the story of Lola Goreng. The hashtag #SantaAldenOnDaig made a huge fuzz and trended on social media sites.
Pinoy Santa’s primary role is to help Lola Reyna’s grandchildren, who were stripped of their powers, in their quest to save their Lola and the entire Enchanted Queendom from the hands of Malek, played by Katrina Halili, the evil aunt who robbed Lola Reyna of her rightful throne. He told the kids that they don’t need superpowers to save others, they just need to be brave.
As the story progresses, Prince, the one with the ability to fly, and Prinsesita, who possesses the power to transform to anything she wishes, and Princess, who can read anyone’s minds, will encounter a mysterious person who will help them in their adventure.
