- Arjo Atayde reel-life autistic role is praised by Autism Society Philippines
- Perfect 10 was given by Maricel Soriano to Arjo’s acting in ‘The General’s Daughter’
- He is really a good and flexible actor in this generation
Arjo Atayde plays one of the vital roles in the most talked-about Kapamilya teleserye ‘The General’s Daughter.’ Recently, the Autism Society Philippines(ASP) commended his good acting with his character Elai, an autistic son of Maricel Soriano in the teleserye.
ASP President Grace Luna Adviento is grateful with how Arjo portrayed his role as an autistic. The actor was able to give justice to his character, because he really acted as a real-life autistic in the teleserye.
“Papa O, sa lahat ng nag-portray ng autistic, si Arjo Atayde ang pinaka-realistic for me. Thank you at justifiable ang pag-portray niya ng role sa ‘The General’s Daughter.’ Ang galing!” Ms. Grace messaged Ogie Diaz.
The claim was supported also by a viewer who has an autistic family member, “Tama ang acting ni Arjo, kapag nagsasalita hindi siya nakatingin sa kausap, may iba siyang tinitingnan. Wala silang masyadong body language, normal lang ang kilos, malalaman mo lang pag nagsalita. At higit sa lahat, wala silang feelings, hindi sila malambing.”
No wonder, Diamond Star Maricel gave Arjo a ‘perfect 10’ score for his acting role.
What more can this actor give to show business? Is there any role he can’t portray?
Watch out for more of Elai in ‘The General’s Daughter.’ Meanwhile, Arjo’s movie with Jessy Mendiola, ‘The Stranded’ is now showing nationwide.
