Known for her bubbly and cheeky attitude, Maine Mendoza, or as some know her as “Yaya Dub,” the former on-screen partner of Alden Richards, has admitted the she and the lead actor of the iWant Original Series “BagMan” Arjo Atayde, are officialy dating.
Last March 3, 2019, Maine Mendoza has officially confirmed her relationship with Atayde, after the rumors spread that the two actors are dating. She wrote in a blog post, “Again, without waiting any longer, here’s the statement and confirmation you have been waiting for: It’s true, I am dating Arjo.”
With this issue confirmed, she asked the respect of her fans especially regarding the online bashing. She also mentioned on the blog that she couldn’t stay on a character (Yaya Dub), for living in a fictional world is not to her liking
“Sadly, I cannot stay as Yaya Dub forever. This is Maine, the real me. And this is real life. And I cannot go on with my life behind a fictional character.”
Since, the two are exclusively dating, Arjo Atayde even has a cute nick name for Maine. On an Instagram post of Maine Mendoza, she posted a picture of her in a pool captioned, “@mainedcm- floaties”

Which we can say that the nickname is so cute. These two actors have made their relationship more of a private one after they’ve confirmed it. Arjo Atayde had even met the family of Maine, to personally talk of his intentions to Maine.
