One of Alden Richards’ dream is to build a church, which doesn’t have an exact location yet, but will do it as soon as he gets the time. As seen by fans that he is really religious, he may become a priest someday.
Recently, Richard Faulkerson Jr., more known with his stage name Alden Richards, was invited by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle for a guesting in the 2nd Diocesan Lenten Recollection held at the Diocese of Antipolo.
During the event, Alden was asked if he would want to become a priest or not, the 27-year old actor said that he is offering his life to God, and God will give his life the path that he will deserve.
“Talaga, pinag-uusapan ‘yun, pero hindi naman tayo aabot sa ganun. Gusto ko lang makapagpatayo ng simbahan at ‘pag natupad ko ‘yun, sobrang saya ko.”
Cardinal Tagle teased the “Pambansang Bae” as he also visited the PHP Conference on Evangelization. Cardinal Tagle called the actor “Monsignor Alden” because of his strong faith in God.
“Ang buhay ko po in-offer ko na sa Diyos, siya na po ang bahala kung saan niya ko gustong dalhin,” Alden answered the Cardinal.
In connection with this, Alden’s dream of building a church is just part of his bucket list and he isn’t planning to be a priest yet. He also said that he still want to portray many roles as long as he is in show business.
