- She added that she will never enter a relationship where she would be a mistress because she knew how painful it can be.
Aiko Melendez already had enough of the false accusations thrown at her by a critic. It compelled the actress to deny the accusation that she is a mistress of her boyfriend, Subic Mayor Jay Khonghun and who is running for the vice gubernatorial post in the city of Zambales.
To finally clarify the issue, Melendez had a Facebook Live on Friday, April 5 to give her sentiments. Though she did not name the person, and addressed her as ‘Madame Vice Governor’, it was obvious that she was referring to the candidate who is running against her boyfriend.
Aiko was prompted to address the issue when she was tagged as ‘Jade’, likened to the character-mistress of Yam Concepcion in Halik to her boyfriend’s.
Aiko stressed that she is not a mistress.
In fact, her boyfriend previously had a girlfriend before she even came to the picture. Also, Khonghun’s previous marriage is about to be annulled and it is not her fault that the judicial system in the country is slow.
That’s why I am for divorce. So how dare you call me kabit?
Aiko added that she would never be a mistress, for she herself had experienced being fooled by her past partner, so she knows how painful it can be.
The actress claimed that ‘Madam Vice Governor’ should act decently and focus on her platforms rather than using her as a campaign strategy in order to get the voter’s sympathy votes.
“Don’t use me. Kung talagang may proyekto kayo para sa tao, may plano po kayo para sa buong Zambales, like you claim that you had projects, why not focus on that?
“That’s what you call decency. Sometimes you really can’t buy class. I hope and pray that you can just buy it in a sari-sari store but you cannot. Sadly, sad to say, your kind of politics is so dirty. Napakadumi,
“Madam Vice Governor, you are elected by the people. Act like one. If you want to be elected again by the people, then be decent. Have a decent mouth. Have some manners. If you can’t buy manners, at least read a book about manners. Maybe in own little way, may natutunan ka sa akin.
At the end of the video, Melendez warned the accuser, “I am going to be your worst nightmare.”
However, she said that she will be focusing on supporting Khonghun and helping Zambales.
