Sunshine Cruz, the ex-wife of Cesar Montano, is planning to go back to ABS-CBN after her series ‘Kapag Nahati ang Puso’ in GMA Network, a comeback role for Sunshine after 7 years of absence. Sunshine was seen in the 2017 hit afternoon series ‘Wildflower’ as the mother of Lily Cruz.
GMA Network will start airing their new series ‘Dragon Lady’ next week. The series tells about the captivating story about love, revenge, and the intriguing legend of Dragon worship set in a bustling Filipino-Chinese community. Headlined by Janine Gutierrez and Tom Rodriguez, ‘Dragon Lady’ is the first team-up of two of the Network’s most sought-after and top-caliber actors to date.

According to Jun Lalin of Pang Masa, “Kay Sunshine Cruz unang in-offer ang role na ‘yon, pero may offer din ang ABS-CBN sa ex-wife ni Cesar Montano. Hindi natuloy ang series na dapat ay gagawin ni Sunshine, pero may sisimulan na rin naman siya sa Kapamilya network.”
