Rita Daniela admitted that in her many years in the showbiz industry, her casting as Aubrey in ‘My Special Tatay’ gave her a lot of good feedback.
In 2008, she started finding luck and joined ‘Popstar Kids,’ using her own name Rita Iringan, and was the grand winner back then. She was with Julie Anne San Jose. After numerous guesting in GMA Network, she decided to set aside her career and finish her studies first, until she appeared on screen and did some guesting.
After her comeback, GMA Network offered her a role as Aubrey in ‘My Special Tatay,’ with Ken Chan playing the title role as Boyet, who has a mild intellectual disability. But first, the Kapuso Star did not accept the role of Aubrey.
But eventually, she accepted it and was taught what was the role was all about.

Kasi later, ako pala ang magiging bida,” Rita said.
Rita shared that despite being the Grand Champion of her batch in ‘Popstar Kids,’ this was just the moment she felt the she has been supported and having fans.
Alam ba ninyong itong cell phone kong gamit ngayon, bigay nila? Rita again shared.

She is much thankful to the teleserye she stars with Ken, but is a bit sad because of the upcoming finale of the said series.
‘Bihag’ will replaced ‘My Special Tatay’ and will premier on April 1.
