- The ‘World of Dance Philippines’ co-host gave a positive response to this
After ‘The General’s Daughter’ lead star, Angel Locsin, refused the co-creator and designer to play the role of the new Marvel Filipina superhero Wave, opinions of numerous fans on possible artists like Nadine Lustre and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach flooded social media, pleading that they don the suit for this role.
Their names where also mentioned when an online survey was raised, on who among them can replace Angel Locsin and play the new ‘Darna,’ a Filipino superheroine. But eventually, the role was confirmed to be played by Liza Soberano.
Fans of Nadine Lustre expressed that she can play this Marvel Filipina superhero well.
But supporters of Pia Wurtzbach did not let this pass and expressed, as well, their point that the former Miss Universe can do the said role better.
The beauty queen and World of Dance Philippines co-host affirmed this, and shared the post of her fans and confidently said, ”Why not? A girl can dream.”
With how confident the beauty queen is on this, the feeling is similar to every one of her fan.
Wurtzbach was previously seen playing a superhero character when she portrayed ‘Kweenie’ or Cassandra Stockings in one of Vice Ganda’s box-office hit films entitled ‘Gandarrapiddo! The Revenger Squad.’
