The Viva artist James Reid is expected to play the role of ‘Pedro Penduko’ in the new film of the same name. The film is titled as ‘Pedro Penduko: The Legend Begins.’ But, during the press conference of The CR3W, the male young star confirmed that the shooting of his fantasy-action film is postponed. Is it due to his commitment as a judge in judges in ‘Idol Philippines?’
Some Netizens jumped to conclusions that the new project of Reid is probably the reason why the film had to be postponed. That rumor i s not true, but is due to his shoulder injury from his Martial Arts training.
“I am still recovering but while recovering, I have other project, another movie I will be doing. But I don’t think I can just say it yet and also the concert [The CR3W],” James said.
The shooting will resume as soon as Reid fully recovers from his injury.
During the conference, he was asked to comment about his girlfriend Nadine Lustre doing a film outside of their tandem, he was quick to say, “I am happy for her.
“I was so impressed by the trailer, it looks amazing. I am really very excited for her, I’m very happy for her.”
