Once and for all, this was answered by film producer Malou Choa Fagar when she explained the reason behind Maine’s absence in ‘Eat Bulaga.’

She became a sensational performer as she aced the unscripted Kalyeserye episodes which could have been a challenge for a relative newcomer. In an Instagram post of Malou Choa Fagar, she shared a group photo of the Dabarkads while they were in Israel to shoot for the show’s Lenten special episode. In the post, she stated that they were in Petra, a tourist spot in Jordan and that they were missing Maine Mendoza that time.
