Early this year, the social media went ablaze with the exchanged rants of two of the well-known artists in the industry, Kris Aquino and Gretchen Barretto (sister of Claudine).
Kris mentioned Greta in her most recent Instagram live session last January 16. Gretchen answered back with her own online live session which got a hit of more than 1,300 viewers in less than ten minutes. Gretchen even impersonated Kris Aquino in one of her live stories on Instagram.
In a previous report, Claudine has been very open about her reconcilation with her sister Gretchen Barretto. She even did a suprise birthday party for Greta. Gretchen was the one who took good care of Claudine while in the hospital.
Kris Aquino, has just unfollowed Claudine Barretto on Instagram. Furthermore, netizens are speculating that the reconcilation of the two sisters is the reason why Kris Aquino unfollowed bestfriend Claudine Barretto.
During her Instagram live session with sister Gretchen Barretto, Claudine Barretto clarified that she and Kris Aquino are still friends despite Gretchen calling Kris out in public during her legal battle with Nicko Falcis.
“Yes, [we’re okay],” Claudine said.
“Alam mo kami, may usapan din kami ni Claudine. I understand her life, her friends. Her friends are her friends, my friends can be her friends but she doesn’t have to be angry at an enemy or somebody that has done me wrong in the past,” Gretchen explained.
It can be recalled that Claudine’s name was involved in the controversy of Kris and Grecthen, because Greta believes that Kris is pulling Claudine her sister to side with the former Queen of All of Media.
Netizens are not condemning this act of Kris Aquino, thus comments flooded on social media, pointing out that blood is thicker than water. And it’s understandable that you get to unfollow people you hate to see in your social media feeds.
