Last March 6, Kim Chiu was a guest in the ABS-CBN noontime show, ‘It’s Showtime.’ During the ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ segment, together with the contestant, Vhong Navarro, and Ryan Bang were about to do an impromptu skit inspired by ‘One More Chance’ of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz.
Kim immediately regret her choice of words during the live episode as Ryan was supposed to act like being jealous but his take looked like he was constipated and immediately noticed by Kim.
The actress got carried away by her emotions as she recognized Ryan’s take as he looked like he’s pooping. Whilst everyone was laughing, off the microphone, Vhong reminded Kim to be mindful of her words.
Immediately the actress apologized for the choices of her words, “Mali po yung salita ko, hindi ko pa na-compose yung feelings ko.”
“Hala, sorry talaga, Direk Bobet. Hala, last day ko na talaga ‘to. Pasintabi na po sa lahat ng mga nanonood diyan. Wala po ‘yon, guni-guni niyo lang,” as the guilty actress said to the director, studio audience, and its viewers.
Meanwhile co-hosts Amy Perez and Mariel Padilla poked fun as the both got amused to what happened, “So T’yang Amy, alam mo na, bukas may public apology ka!”
It was recalled that in June 2018, the veteran hosts were tasked to do a public apology on behalf of the program as she and a particular GirlTrend joked about orphans on its live episode that had earned criticism from its televiewers.
