- Jhong Hilario exits ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ ahead of election campaign ban
- Cardo (Coco Martin) and Alakdan (Jhong Hilario) face off for the last time in the March 27 episode of ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’
Jhong Hilario’s exit in ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ is one of the most-awaited parts of the series’ current story, since some of the show’s major cast members need to say goodbye due to the coming midterm elections. The campaign period bans showbiz appearances for candidates. As re-electionist for a Makati City councilor post, Jhong is expected to start campaigning on March 29.
Jhong Hilario was added as one of the characters of ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ in May 2017. His villainous character Homer, a.k.a. Alakdan, started as a Vendetta under the leadership of Lito Lapid’s character named Romulo. They were eventually divided as Homer joined President Lucas Cabrera (played by Edu Manzano) and Cardo stayed with the Vendetta fighting for justice.
His character died when Cardo managed to gain the upper hand and shot Homer, with a precise number of bullets signifying names he wanted to avenge, including his son. With a final gunshot to the head, Homer’s death now appeared certain, with members of Vendetta surrounding his body.
