- James Reid’s ‘Pedro Penduko’ will be put on hold for a while due to his shoulder injury
- Will Jame Reid’s ‘Pedro Penduko’ movie push through?
James Reid’s stint as ‘Pedro Penduko’ will be temporarily put on hold as he is currently nursing a shoulder injury that he got while training in preparation for his role, as the legendary Filipino comic book character.
The Filipino-Australian actor confirmed this when he answered the queries of ABS CBN News during the launching of his new endorsement with Merrel shoes last Friday, March 15.
“Yes, it’s still delayed because I have shoulder injury while training for it so it could take (a) couple of months to heal.”
Because of the injury, James will not be able to do training for his upcoming role as ‘Pedro Penduko.’
“I can’t do training, can’t do heavy exercise but I’m slowly getting back into it.”
Despite the injury, James is still hopeful that the role will not slip away.
“I hope so, I hope so. I have to wait until it heals,”James answered, when he was asked if he will still get the role.
Because of his injury, the production crew for his upcoming solo movie project has chosen to cancel shooting until he fully recovers.
James is currently part of the newest Kapamilya singing search, ‘Idol Philippines,’ where he is one of the judges.
