Darren Espanto and JK Labajo have sparked a Twitter war in October last year, over a phrase that Labajo allegedly posted – “gayness at its finest.” Darren pointed out that JK was just claiming that his account got hacked to clean his image and not get accountable for the said tweet. He also revealed that their record label MCA Music Inc. discussed the issue with JK.
“Timing ‘no? Dinelete ng “hacker” mo yung tweet na ‘to after kang kausapin ng management. Pag nahanap mo yung hacker mo puntahan niyo ako para malaman niyo kung sino yung totoong BAKLA,” Darren tweeted.
JK tried to talk to Darren about this issue privately, but Darren chose to air it out in public.
“Nirespeto kita at kinausap in private, but orayt ayaw mo so gawin nating public.”
The two young singers have not yet reconciled since last year.
Last Monday, March 11, JK’s post on Instagram made netizens think that he is referring to Darren.
“Balang araw ay maaamoy din ng mga tao ang tunay mong baho.
“Malalaman din nila ang totoo mong kulay.
“Malalaman din nila ang tunay mong pagkatao.
“Lalabas lahat ‘yan. Marami kaming naghihintay.
“-soon,”
The two were contestants in the first season of ‘The Voice Kids’ and treated each other as friends even after the show.
