Kid Yambao started his career on February 14, 2017 when the all-male dance group Hashtags introduced their eight new members on ‘It’s Showtime.’ Since then he had several TV appearances like in ‘Wansapanataym,’ ‘Ipaglaban Mo’ and ‘Be My Lady.’
According to him his career helped him and his family in terms of finances, “Maraming nabago. Nakakatulong na ako ngayon sa pamilya ko, sa mga gastos. Napapag-aral ko na rin yung mga kapatid ko, at may kaunti na rin akong savings. Nakakatuwa rin sa sarili, at ‘yun naman talaga ang gusto ko,”
He also shared that he’s working hard because he wanted his grandfather to stop from working and go home to the Philippines, “Ang pinaka-main goal ko talaga, ang mapauwi ko ‘yung lola ko from the States. Kasi nandoon pa siya, eh, nagwo-work.”
Kid is set to star in the an upcoming movie project titled ‘Two Love You’ along with the ABS-CBN actress Yen Santos and the comedian Lassy under the direction of Benedict Mique. The said project is produced by OgieD Productions, Inc. in cooperation with Lion Wolf Productions.

“Hindi pa namin ‘yun napapag-usapan ni Direk, pero kung sakaling meron, okay lang, para lang ‘yun sa trabaho,” he promptly responded.
If in case that the kissing scene will take place is he prepared to do a torrid kiss with Lassy? The young actor said, “Bahala na kung ano ‘yung maging desisyon ni Direk. Saka siyempre, may hinahabol kaming image.”
He also shared his insights about how people think about being linked to or having a relationship with a gay, similar to his role. He said that he doesn’t find anything wrong with it, “Okay lang naman kung ‘yun ang isipin ng mga tao, wala akong magagawa. Kung ano ‘yung napanood nila, ‘yun ang iisipin nila na ginagawa ko. Pero hangggang sa pelikula lang naman ‘yun.”
He also added that he’s not against gay relationships but he clarified that, “Straight ako, eh. Parang malabo.”

Since the topic about having a relationship was brought up, he was also asked about his love life followed by his sex life. “Wala akong girlfriend ngayon. ‘Yung huling girlfriend ko, two years ago. Hindi ko muna iniisip magka-girlfriend kasi marami akong ginagawa,”
