Two of GMA Network’s primetime television series ‘Kara Mia’ and ‘Inagaw Na Bituin’ made a mark globally for generating the most interest in social media discussions on newly released TV series, making it on the Top Ten Social Wit List, based on the data for the month of February compiled by The WIT.
The WIT or the Global trend-tracker WorldScreen.com tracks both well-known social media accounts Facebook and Twitter, where its main purpose is to rank global premieres and bases its results on the buzz of discussions made worldwide.
The fantasy drama series ‘Kara Mia’ ranked second by garnering a total of 29,000 mentions. Accordingly, it was most talked about on its #RemarkableSpecialEffects #GreatPerformanceByTheMainActresses and for having a #FilipinoFolkloreOnScreen.
Another is the recently released musical drama series ‘Inagaw Na Bituin’ which made the sixth place by garnering a total of 21,000 tweets. The mentions focused on its #GreatCast #Interesting Story and #ExcitingEpisode with #ALotOfSuspense.
The two television series were the only Philippine and Southeast Asia entries that were included in the list.
