- Some AlDub fans are claiming that Maine stated that she has the worst fans ever

- Few bashers went too far by making AlDub fans hate Maine
AlDub Nation, also known as ‘MaiDen’ and ‘MaiChard,’ as dubbed by its fans was derived from the tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. They were the phenomenal love team that first appeared in the segment of noontime variety show ‘Eat Bulaga’ in its ‘Kalyeserye’ segment, a portion of the “Juan for All, All for Juan” aired in GMA Network before.

Maine and Alden became so popular that they caught the attention of massive audiences and made lots of fans out of it.
On March 04, an AlDub fan took to Twitter an alleged post referring to Maine stating that she had the worst fandom ever. The fan claimed that the account named Gil Quilong is Maine Mendoza’s private account and a true AlDub fan would truly know and testify to it, for they have this ‘Resibo Policy.’
It was captioned, “Because we in ADN has that Resibo Policy. Here you go. If you are a real ADN fan or a Mulat you will know that it is her FB private page. Don’t us. #ADNLastsForever”

But Maine directly denied this allegation as she replied, “Lol bakit ba ang hilig niyo mag edit ng “resibo?” Damay niyo pa si Patchypie at Mam Sheila. “Don’t us” din ho.”

Accordingly, the alleged shared screencap was posted way back in 2017. At that time, it already made some AlDub fans saddened and infuriated. Good thing, once and for all, that Maine already addressed this old issue that some fans are trying to bring back.
After Maine made her clarification, fans happily flooded her by expressing their gratitude for, finally, this kind of issue is already cleared out.

Thanks for clearing this one up, Maine. This has been one of the sources of 'pain' for us. It's a big relief since this particular tweet has been going around since 2017 I think. It took ~2 years but it's better late than never.

People who are accustomed to socmed know that fake/edited posts proliferate thereat. Some ADNs & M fans were able to discern/analyze/research to arrive at a logical conclusion that post is likely to be fake. They also believed it was fake becoz they know M would never post that.
