Claudine Barretto is again caught in a controversy for the past weeks; according to rumors, she is indebted to the wife of boxing champion and senator Manny Pacquiao.
On March 27 (Wednesday), Barretto held an Instagram livestream to finally address the issue and In the recorded streaming she said that she already had enough of the rumors and it is about time to clear her name and that of her kumare Jinkee Pacquiao.
In the middle of her live stream Gretchen Barretto peeped in and expressed her support to her younger sister. When it was Gretchen’s turn to clear things out she opened up about settling the issues legally.
Gretchen said, “And there are also some things na kailangan idaan sa lawyer. We would rather not talk about it yet para fair yung trial, kung ano man ang trial na yun. I feel na our Claudine wants to clear her name and get justice.”
Claudine, on the other hand, affirmed her sister’s statement, it is better to have a voice in the issue rather than to stay quiet. She also informed her fans that this would likely happen soon at the right time.
Claudine replied, “Yes balang araw. In the right time.
“Magugulat po kayo sa mga pangyayari sa buhay ko pero may mga panahon na dapat hindi talaga dapat maging quiet kasi kailangan marinig ng tao yung boses mo.”
Jinkee Pacquiao also confirmed to Claudine’s statement as she commented on the live stream. Mrs. Pacquiao mentioned that the artist and her are good friends.
” Mare, ipaalam ko lang sa kanila na wala kang utang sa akin. At wala din tayong business. Masaya ako na friends tayo at kumare kita. I love you, mare!”
