- His last performance was in Abra where he put his everything just to complete the show
- Netizens were saddened by the sudden death of Chokoleit but they salute his professionalism as an artist after finishing his performance even with difficulty
Jonathan Aguilar Garcia or better known by his stage name Chokoleit, was a stand-up comedian, actor, and TV host. He has been giving joy and love to all his fans for 19 years, since he started making his name in the showbiz industry. But suddenly on March 09 (Saturday), as confirmed by his talent agency Star Magic, he bid a sudden farewell to his fans by passing on the age of 48.
Chokoleit was one of the artists that had an out of town performance. It was a variety show for the Abrenian Kawagan Festival 2019 held at the Abra Sports Complex in Bangued, Abra. That night, Chokoleit brought laughter by humorously joking around with the crowd and even performed a song number.
He was totally putting up so much effort into his performance that he did not mind the struggle that he was already experiencing. After the show, Chokoleit was rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital but, sadly, was not able to make it. It was confirmed by the attending physician, Dr. Rosauro Seares, that the cause of his death was pulmonary edema and heart attack.
In the videos circulating online, many noticed how Chokoleit was struggling throughout his performance. He was heavily breathing and was often drinking water, yet despite the difficulties, he still continued on with the show, letting everyone know that he is okay; even though deep inside he was not.
As netizens watched his last performance, many could not help but cry as they see him doing his best despite the difficulty that he is already experiencing. Some think that he might have survived if he did not pursue his performance.
Some even blamed the management for not stopping Chokoleit, knowing that he is already struggling. However, many recognized and applaud his professionalism as a performer because he gave his everything, even going to the point of finishing his act despite the difficulties.
Indeed Chokoleit is a dedicated and passionate artist. Netizens then filled their social media accounts with love and praises for Chokoleit as they see him as a true artist.

Just finished watching #Chokoleit ‘s last performance and it was really evident that she was tired and out of breath. Despite that, she tried so hard to finish his show. It was so painful to watch. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
