In an interview with ‘Tonight with Boy Abunda’, Filpino comedian Bayani Agbayani clarified the issue of him declining the role offered to him to join the cast of the top action series ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’.
According to the comedian, Coco Martin chanced upon him while the actor was inside a restroom dressing up during the ABS SBN’s Christmas Special Coco offered him a role. Two weeks after, he was called for casting.
On the first offer, he was doing the soap, ‘Sana Dalawa ang Puso Ko’, which starred Robin Padilla, Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria. Bayani said, he’s willing to accept the offer but due to conflicting offers and schedules, he is unable to do so.
He was again called for the role but his soap was still on with the same taping schedule of MWF of ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ and for the same reason, the casting did not surface.
For the third offer, he was supposed to be the father of Jessy Mendiola’s role for ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ but the comedian’s soap is still on going, his appearance on the top rated show was on shadows.
Right now, the comedian is busy promoting for his upcoming movie, ‘Ang Pansamatagal’, in theaters nationwide this March 20th with Gelli de Belen as his leading lady with Joven Tan at the helm.
