‘The General’s Daughter’ star, Angel Locsin, quickly responded to the revelation of Nadine Lustre. On her Twitter post, she warmly accommodated Nadine’s intention to work with her in an action film and at the same time she congratulated the young actress for her recent movie project, ‘Ulan,’ under Viva Films together with Marco Gumabao and Carlo Aquino.
The said tweet was posted after Nadine revealed her dream projects during her interview with Karen Davila in ANC’s Headstart. According to Nadine, “I would want to work with Ate Angel in an action film. I loved action movies when I was a kid. Even until now, actually.”

It was recalled that Angel Locsin transferred to ABS-CBN in 2007. Her first project with the network was in the longest running drama anthology ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ episode Pilat, where she won the PMPC Star Award for TV for Best Single Performance by an Actress.
Followed by her character Lyka Raymundo -Ortega in the 2008 action- fantasy series ‘Lobo,’ where she got several nominations for her outstanding performance on TV, her last movie project was in 2016 together with Sam Milby and Zanjoe Marudo in ‘The Third Party.’ Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, it has an estimated gross of P110 million.
Nadine Lustre’s last movie prior to ‘Ulan’ was ‘Never Not Love You,’ directed by Antoinette Jadaone. Together with her on screen and real life partner James Reid, it had a total gross of P92 million. While her last TV series, ‘On The Wings Of Love,’ together with James concluded on February 26, 2016.
Her recent movie project, ‘Ulan,’ premieres this coming March 13. In this movie, she’s paired with another leading man, Carlo Aquino.
