Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Manuel Romualdez invites young people involved in youth-serving organizations to nominate their groups to the Epic Youth Leadership Awards (EYLA) under the parent banner Gawad Geny Lopez, Jr. Bayaning Pilipino Awards. It is a new search by ABS-CBN Corporation, ABS-CBN International and UGAT Foundation, Inc. conducted in the U.S. and Canada that seeks to recognize youth-led and youth-serving organizations that empower and provide service to the youth whether in the U.S., Canada, or in the Philippines through any of these specific areas of service: (1) Entrepreneurship/ Innovation; (2) Environmentalism; (3) Mentorship/ Education/ Literacy; (4) Civil Rights/ Compassion/ Charity; and (5) Arts/ Culture/ Heritage Advocacy.
There are many groups doing a world of good for young people in the U.S. and in Canada. They could be your friends, your family, your co-workers, schoolmates, or neighbors. And they could be part of development or humanitarian organizations, school groups, faith-based, social justice, mentorship, or cultural societies, clubs or associations. They are ordinary people doing extraordinary work that are changing communities.

- How does the organization make a positive impact on the youth/community they serve?
- Review the nomination form and be sure to fill in all required information
- Click the “Submit” button at the end of the online form. You will receive a “Thank You” message once your nomination has been successfully sent.
