- Yassi Pressman on changes in ‘FPJ’s ang Probinsyano’ actors roster
- Some actors are leaving the TV series
- It’s still the number 1 primetime series
ABS-CBN’s ‘FPJ’s ang Probinsyano’ has been running on the primetime television bloc for 3 years now. We have witnessed the journey on how Coco Martin/Cardo Dalisay was put to different tests yet still sticks to being devoted to his principles, his love for family, and country. Also, while the series is still ongoing, we cannot deny the fact that a lot of actors already left the show.
And now that the 2019 election is approaching, we will again be missing more characters that we already have been looking forward to in the story. Yassi Pressman, one of the stars of the show, expressed how she is affected by the changes saying,
“As much as possible nga po, ayaw sana namin isipin kasi para kaming nababawasan ng pamilya. Ito nga pong pagkawala ni Aubrey (Ryza Cenon), umiyak kaming lahat behind the scenes.”
“With the next couple of characters na kailangan pong umalis, hindi pa po namin alam kung ano ang magiging reaction po namin, kung paano namin i-handle.”
Yassi also expressed that though goodbyes are saddening, they are also happy on the new added actors by warmly welcoming them to be part of the show’s big family.
“Sobrang lamig po sa set namin. Lagi po kami naka-winter clothes. Mainit din ang araw tapos nagugulat po sila doon sa location namin. Kaya yun ang nagiging bonding namin sa mga bagong members ng cast.”

She also added a teaser of what’s next in the series saying, “Ngayon po kakabawas lang po ng members ng vendetta group. Si Ryza Cenon, si Aubrey. Ngayon po galit po ang ating Presidente, gusto niya maghiganti. Kaya abangan po natin kung ano ang gagawin po natin.”
Yassi Pressman just renewed her contract with the Kapamilya network so she will be continuing her role as Alyanna Arevalo in the TV series.
‘FPJ’s ang Probinsyano’ series continuously tops the nationwide ratings from the time it started till today. Already beating 11 Kapuso shows including ‘Cain at Abel.’ Now that another GMA Network series will be ending, it will be succeeded by Barbie Forteza and Mika dela Cruz’s ‘Kara-Mia,’ which, from the release of its teaser gained so much attention from netizens.
Could this be a positive sign to overcome the other network’s rating? That is for us to find out anytime soon.
