- Willie Revillame comes back to the show, Wowowin, to bring fun to viewers
- Despite all the pain that happened in the past, the show must go on
- The date of his comeback also commemorates with the date of the Ultra stampede
Willie Revillame will come back to his regular taping schedule for the GMA Network variety show, ‘Wowowin.’ The said show returns after the incident where an audience member died from falling from the bleacher and accidentally hitting her head with a fire extinguisher. The incident happened last January 23, 2019.
The date of his comeback to the show is significant as it also commemorates with the accident that happened in the PhilSports Arena (formerly known as Ultra) on February 4, 2006, where 71 people were recorded dead due to a stampede.
According to the article on PEP.ph, the Wowowin studio has been fixed and improved, and has been blessed prior to its reopening.
It was recalled on the previous article that WBR Entertainment Productions and GMA Network immediately responded to the incident but the victim died prior to her arrival at the Delgado hospital. No one wants what happened of course, but the show must go on despite the pain of what happened.
According to some sources, Revillame was really affected by what happened, but his goal of bringing fun to the masses must go on. He just wanted to make more people happy. Surely this time, the management and the production will be more careful and strict about its policies when dealing with the audience.
