February 10 was the first senatorial debate for the senatorial elections. Many netizens and Philippine voters watched and witnessed the programs and solutions that the candidates could offer to lessen the problems that the country is facing right now.
As a Philippine netizen and actress, and younger sister of Anne Curtis Smith, Jasmine Curtis Smith posted on her twitter account a question that was directed to senatorial candidate Gutoc.
During the debate, a senatorial candidate was asked by the moderator, “Bilang ina at babae, ano ang maitutulong mo sa gobyerno para sa illegal na droga?”
Gutoc answered, “As women, kailangan maging bahagi ng local system of protection.”
