Chito Miranda, the lead singer of the band Parokya ni Edgar, targeted a direct argument with a follower after commenting on his post about the rivalry between GMA Network and ABS-CBN networks.
Pointing out that since the Kapuso talent Julie Anne San Jose, being a great singer, lacks support from her own network, she might as well transfer to the Kapamilya network for her to finally have her big break as an artist.
This was from on an article published on the site of the Philippine Entertainment Portal and a certain netizen commented that Julie Anne is not given a big break in GMA that’s why she must transfer to ABS-CBN.
“Sana wag nating haluan ng kabaduyan ng network wars yung page ko hahaha. Wala tayong paki sa mga GMA vs ABS na ganyan at kung saan mas sisikat ang tao kasi di naman importante yun. Ang pinag-uusapan atin dito is kung gaano siya kagaling,” Chito expressively said to his follower.
We can’t deny that the Philippine television networks war is quite rampant and the rivalry game is so intense that fans can’t help but habitually have word wars on social media. And this issue got Chito’s attention.
Just recently, in GMA Network’s ‘Studio 7’ ‘Musikalye’ television show, Julie Anne San Jose, together with Gabbi Garcia, performed one of Chito Miranda’s hit songs, ‘Bagsakan’, a collaborative song of the band Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc-9, and the late Pinoy King of Rap Francis Magalona.
Julie Anne San Jose’s great performance got the band vocalist’s attention. Amazed by how great an artist Julie is, he right away posted a short clip of Julie where she was rapping the stanza of Gloc 9 in his Instagram account.
“Tingnan mo ‘tong si Julie Anne San Jose. Una, gumawa ng version ng “Your Song” na sobrang ganda. Sabi ko nalang: ang galing talaga nitong babaeng ‘to. Tapos di pa nakunteto…binanatan nya pa yung stanza ni Gloc sa Bagsakan! Sobrang galing sarap sabunutan,” Chito Miranda wrote.

Chito Miranda, together with his band Parokya ni Edgar, will be having a US concert tour scheduled this coming March.
