Recently, Robin Padilla starred in the biopic, ‘Bato: The General Ronald dela Rosa Story.’ According to sources, the film hardly got support from the moviegoers.
Netizens also posted photos showing the cinemas showing the films which hardly sold tickets and had lots of vacant seats.

Robin detailed his future plans and shared that he wanted to take a break from showbiz. He said that he wanted to focus more on farming for the time being.
“Ang katunayan, matagal na namin ito naging advocacy ni Mariel (Rodriguez), itong organic farming, pero yung mga panahon na ‘yun wala pa kaming nakikitang ka partner, pero hindi nakalimutan sa dasal ko na magkaroon ako ng ganitong kasama.”
He also shared that this is going to be one of his hobbies after retiring from his career.
“Yun talaga ang plano namin kaya ilang beses kami sumubok na umalis, nag-aral pa kami, nag iba’t ibang organic (farming) sa abroad, talagang tinignan namin ang direksyon na gusto namin puntahan. Kaya lang, hindi matapos-tapos ang aming mga kaibigan sa showbiz na papauwiin tayo dito ‘Lika na, gawin natin ‘to, shoot mo lang’,” patuloy pa niyang pahayag. Mahal din kasi talaga natin ang mga kaibigan natin (sa showbiz), pero darating din ang araw na mauubos din ang humihingi ng pabor at matutuloy din namin ang farming,” he said.
He shared his plans to the press during the launching of his new endorsement with Ada Manufacturing Corporation. He stressed out that he doesn’t have an interest for any post in the government and he could help people and the community on his own.
“Wala po akong balak sa pulitika, ako po ay naniniwala na mas marami akong matutulungan kung ako ay nandito sa showbiz, nandito ako sa ganitong trabaho, kasi direkta ito at higit sa lahat pera nila (private sector) ang ginagastos ko.”
