- So this Valentine’s season, raise your glass and take some time to celebrate your own unique self with this soul-pampering playlist. Curated, with love, from Spotify for you.
Because while many countries celebrate Valentine’s Day this month, not everyone will be in the mood for listening to romantic ballads or steamy songs. That’s why we’ve created Self-Love, a playlist made specifically about appreciating a supremely important person in your life: you.
;
We’re not the only ones who see a little “me time” as important. In the past year, we’ve noticed that streams of self-love themed playlists have been on the rise, with listening increasing about 72%. Plus, we’ve found that the most popular time of day to stream self-love playlists is the morning, suggesting that people turn to them to help set the right tone for the day.
We looked to our listeners’ playlists for their favorite tracks about wellness, relaxation, self-care, and self-love. The 30 picks featured on our Self-Love playlist include some of the most popular user picks globally — from Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Yourself” and Panic at the Disco’s “High Hopes” to throwback jams like Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” and Bobby McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy.” These songs acknowledge themes of resilience, positivity, survival and… red wine (cheers, UB40).
And what’s Valentine’s Day without some classic OPM love songs? On February 14, check out the Tatak Pinoy playlist to listen to two new tracks from the Spotify Jams: OPM Love Songs campaign. Fall in love with Sarah Geronimo’s amazing cover of Rivermaya’s “214” or be totally blown away by Silent Sanctuary’s version of Regine Velasquez’s “Pangako.”
